As the sender of messages on a global scale, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with anti-spam laws and regulations in every region in which you operate and send messages. We do not support unsolicited messages, notifications, alerts, or any other communication you may send to individuals for whom you have obtained their contact information without their consent.

Ensuring the sender's identity is clearly stated in every message to establish accountability is crucial.
Opt-Out Mechanisms
All messages must provide a straightforward method for recipients to opt out of future correspondence. To comply with this requirement, you can include the following instructions in your message: "Reply with STOP to Opt-out." The maximum message length is 160 characters, including the Opt-out instructions.
Legal Obligations
As a user of SMSGlobal, you must comply with all relevant laws and regulations governing the use of SMS messaging services. Failure to comply with these laws and regulations may result in legal action and penalties.

Regional Anti-Spam Compliance
Australia
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) mandates that all broadcast messages must have valid Opt-In consent from the receiver. The following are key requirements:
- Identification of the Sender: Clearly state the sender's identity in every message.
- Opt-Out Mechanism: Provide an easy method for recipients to opt-out, such as "Reply STOP to Opt-out."
- Legal Compliance: All users must comply with Australian Anti-Spam laws, and any breach may result in penalties.
United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Updated SMSGlobal Anti-Spam Terms & Conditions
These updates are incorporated by reference into the document constituting the entire Agreement for Messaging Services between the contracting party and SMSGlobal.
Key Definitions:
- Agreement: This includes the Original Contract and all supplementary documents, such as SMSGlobal’s General T&Cs, Service-Specific Terms, and TDRA’s Mobile Spam Policy.
- Consent: The approval by a Recipient to receive Marketing Text Messages.
- SPAM: Unsolicited Marketing SMS messages sent without consent.
Sender ID Registration: Must be registered with SMSGlobal and requires proper documentation from the Ultimate Beneficiary.
Ultimate Beneficiary Permission: Must be obtained and renewed annually.
Breach Matrix:
- First Breach: Warning letter + TDRA fines.
- Second Breach: Blocking traffic for up to 15 days + 20,000 AED fines.
- Third Breach: Permanent account block + up to 50,000 AED fines.
SMS Content and SPAM: The Partner must ensure no harmful or unsolicited messages are sent using SMSGlobal services.
Compliance with UAE Regulations: Partners must adhere to the UAE’s telecommunications regulatory framework, including the Mobile Spam Policy and SMSGlobal’s Anti-Spam Policy.
Inspection of Partner Systems: SMSGlobal reserves the right to inspect systems for compliance and may suspend or terminate the Agreement if systems are found inadequate.United States of America (USA)
USA Compliance Opt-In Process
The SMS Opt-In process in the USA involves several steps to ensure compliance with FCC regulations and provide a seamless experience for users:
- Opt-In Consent: Recipients must actively consent to receive text messages, usually by texting a keyword, filling out an online form, or providing consent through an app.
- Confirmation Message: After Opt-In consent, a confirmation message should be sent, including the sender's identification, instructions for opting out, and contact information.
- Message Content Compliance: All SMS messages must comply with FCC regulations, clearly identify the sender, and provide opt-out mechanisms.
- Opt-Out Process: Recipients must opt out easily by replying with "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE." This process should be clearly stated in all messages.
